Once you get people moving, there's room for improvements and good results. It's a matter of developing the right support structures: clear roles, straightforward work processes and good management steering. By working together in a hands-on fashion to make sure people are in the right roles, improvements become visible and remain safeguarded. It inspires me when I see people grow while the organization as a whole is displaying better results.
For more than two decades, Ted has been supporting organizations in their drive to improve operational results. He has broad experience in the chemicals, foodstuffs and paper industry, and has worked in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, England, Poland and the USA.
After studying mechanical engineering and business administration at Twente University, Ted Abrahamsen completed his naval officer's training. He then started work at AkzoNobel as an engineer and went on to fulfill various management positions in maintenance and production. In 2000, he was one of the founders of ARV Group.
